Upon navigate to The DnD Dice Roller, you’ll see the main dice rolling interface which includes: 

  • Dice Selection Area: Options to choose different types of dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100).
  • Roll Configuration Panel: Fields to label your roll, specify the number of dice, select dice types, and add modifiers.
  • Roll Dice Button: Initiates the roll based on your configurations.
  • Dice Roll Log: Displays the history of your rolls for reference.

To set up your roll:

  1. Label (Optional): Click inside the “Label” text box to name your roll (e.g., “Attack Roll,” “Damage Roll”). This helps in identifying rolls, especially during complex gameplay.

  2. Number of Dice: Enter the quantity of dice you wish to roll in the “# of Dice” field.

  3. Dice Type: Select the desired dice from the “Dice Type” dropdown menu (options include d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100).

  4. Modifier: Input any numerical modifier (positive or negative) in the “Modifier (+/-)” field to adjust the roll total as needed.

  5. Add Dice: To include multiple dice types or additional rolls, click the “➕ Add Dice” button and repeat the configuration steps for each new line.

Once your dice are configured:

  • Click the “🎲 Roll Dice” button.
  • The results will appear immediately in the “Dice Roll Log,” displaying individual dice outcomes and the total sum, including any modifiers.

The “Dice Roll Log” keeps a record of all your rolls during the session:

  • Each entry shows the label (if provided), dice rolled, individual results, modifiers applied, and the final total.
  • To clear the log and start fresh, click the “🗑 Clear Log” button.
